COMMUNITY

In order to support as many people in the community as possible we are proud to host charitable events such the Summer Drive In, Behind Closed Doors, Breakfast with Santa and CopShop, and continue to partner with charities & non-profit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Easter Seals of Ontario, Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Kawartha Food Share, Miracle Toy Drive and Salvation Army.  Last year Lansdowne Place helped raise over $144,000 for the community.

DONATION REQUESTS

Each year Lansdowne Place receives hundreds of donation requests. All requests will be reviewed on an individual basis and charities/non-profit organizations that have not benefited from us in the past may be given preference over ones who have.

Due to Lansdowne Place donation guidelines, we are unable to donate to:

  • Graduation parties, wedding showers, birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas hampers
  • Fundraiser programs for specific individuals (i.e. fundraising to participate in an event or travel abroad)
  • Political organizations
  • Corporate partners, incentive programs or events

Lansdowne Place will not solicit mall tenants for donations on behalf of a group or organization.

Your request must include an outline of your event/fundraiser, what the donation (if approved) will be used for, the date of your event/fundraiser and your contact information.

Please send all written request to:

COMMUNITY BOOTH OR EVENT SPACE

Lansdowne regularly donates our community counter, or mall space to non-profit or charitable organizations looking to increase public awareness.  If you are looking to host an organized event such as a choir performance, flash mob, press conference, or if you are looking to book the community counter to showcase your charity/non-profit organization, you will need to fill out an application detailing your vision for the event.  Any groups visiting the mall also must provide us with a minimum of $2 million liability insurance. (Bookings are done on a first come, first served basis).

For more information, or to receive application and insurance forms, please contact:

Customer Service:    lancustomerservice@20vic.com       or:

Cindy Hendren, Customer Service Supervisor:  chendren@20vic.com

Please note that, due to the bustling Christmas season, with additional retailers at the Centre, we do not book the community counter for the months of November and December.
