Where can I buy a Lansdowne Place gift card?
Lansdowne Place gift cards are sold at the Customer Service kiosk, located near the bottom of the escalator. You can activate a card for any amount you'd like it to be - between $5. and $500.!
The Customer Service kiosk is open all mall hours for your convenience!
Where can I use my gift card?
Gift cards can be redeemed at all of our stores and kiosks with the exception of Dollarama, in the food court (except Thai Express), even in Real Canadian Superstore and The Keg Steakhouse & Bar!
Do mall wide gift cards expire?
No, mall gift cards do not expire.
Do mall wide gift cards have a maintenance fee?
Yes! A $2.50 fee will be deducted by eMerchants Ltd. (the gift card provider) each month from your card starting 16 months AFTER the activation (purchase) date. For example, if you purchase a card on December 1st, 2016 and if there are funds left on the card April 1st, 2018, a $2.50 fee will be deducted from the card each month (on the 1st) starting on April 1st, 2018. (Apr. 1/18, May 1/18, June 1/18, etc.)
Is there anything I can do to avoid the maintenance fee?
Yes! You can avoid the maintenance fee by doing one of the options:
Use the funds BEFORE the 16th month (the deadline date will be stamped on your gift card envelope).
Return the gift card to Customer Service anytime BEFORE the 16th month deadline and Customer Service will transfer the funds over to a new card so you can enjoy another 16 months maintenance free.
Can I return a gift card?
Store Financial will accept a return IF the card is less than 30 days old, hasn’t been used, and is accompanied by the original sales receipt. For eMerchant's address please see your cardholder agreement located in your gift card envelope or Contact Customer Service at 705.748.2961.
Can I return merchandise purchased with a Lansdowne Place gift card?
Funds for returned merchandise can be placed back onto the card; however, since it is a MasterCard system, finalizing the transfer can sometimes take up to 4 days which means you will not be able to access used funds right away.
What can I do if I have lost my card?
If you have the sales receipt for the card you can bring it to Lansdowne Place Customer Service and we will lock the card so no one else can use it. We can then transfer those funds onto a new card so you can continue to shop. Please note that Lansdowne Place is not responsible for any lost or stolen funds.
Can I purchase multiple cards for my office staff?
Lansdowne Place gift cards make the perfect gift for employee incentives, and we would be delighted to assist you with your order. All orders must be paid for either with cash, certified cheque or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
To ensure your financial security we will ask to see a second piece of ID on all large orders paying with a credit card. If you are paying for your order with a certified cheque all gift cards will remain locked until the cheque clears, then funds will be released for use.
Recycling empty gift cards:
Did you know you can bring your empty gift cards (from Lansdowne Place, as well as other businesses) to the Customer Service desk and we'll recycle them for you.
